Experiment

For the experiment professor had us do last Thursday. I wasn’t there but I heard what happened. Honestly I thought the whole idea was interesting and I knew someone would either go rogue or do something to make sure they would win. I didn’t think Chris would go as far as changing the password but all’s fair in love and war- or at least when it comes to getting an A or F. I figured that it wasn’t going be for a real grade but that was a good test. The professor had a good point in saying that the main goal was to satisfy what he wanted and i can see how when it comes to winning it can be easy to forget that. I just want to say good job to both teams.-J. Ramsey

Police and traffic ticket

One day I was driving on Northern Parkway heading to the city. It was about 11am on sunny day on May. I was listening radio and following a car ahead of me meanwhile I didn't relize that I was driving at 83 miles an hour. Suddenly and unluckily, the police pulled me over. It was the first time IN MY LIFE that I got a traffic ticket. There are like 50 cars speeding same as me and I am the only one pulled over:( The cop was state police and I don't want to put his name here because he was so mean. I gave him my registration and license and waited for 3 minutes. He gave a traffic ticket. I had NO IDEA what this paper was and how to solve problems with fine and points. Finally, I went to the lawyer and he couldn't guarantee for winning the court trial.
I'm still waiting for the final decision since my lawyer postponed it to december. Whoever drinving on Northern Parkway, be aware!!!

torture

In class the other day we were talking about torture and the crazy thoughts and methods behind it. Professor Baldwin told us about a pill that lasts an hour and paralyzes the body and makes the heat beat at different paces. This is crazy to me and so are all the other forms of torture people have come up with. Honestly, torture is my biggest fear and it makes me cringe and gives me the chills if i see or hear about someone being tortured. i think it is absolutely awful except for the people who desere it of course. i cant watch any of the saw movies because of this. scary movies are one tihng but a movie based solely on torturous methods is too much for me

Having Good Ears

So today after my journey to rite aid which you will read about in another blog, i get back to my room to do some work on sketch up and of course sketch up is a whole another story to talk about. I am behind my desk doing my work and i hear these noises at first i am like wow they are really loud like they need to shut up. Then as my noisy ear starts to listen more deeply to the conversation the voice starts to sound very familiar, i take my keys leave my room and go to the fire escape to see if they are out side. They were'nt so i came back into my room. Then i started hearing B**** this and your mother that and yes i knew who the person was it was my friend that lives down stairs arguing with her neighbor i felt that it was someone i knew so i went down and they were at each others necks. The R.A was trying to hold them back from killing one another they were both yelling at the top of there lungs.

The reason why they were arguing is because my friend had her music on loud and i am guessing that the neighbor was fed up and went to the R.A and complained about it and what not, so when the R.A knocks on my friend door and tells her to keep the music down the girl started to curse my friend out. So that when it went down it was uncalled for all the girl had to do was knock on my friends door and tell her can you turn down your music. How was she supposed to know her music is to loud if you were never confronted her and told her it makes no sense and she handled it in a very inappropriate way.
