Inspirational Adults
During my time here at Stony Brook, I've taken a few classes where there have been a few older adult students. Upon first impression, I pitied them. I felt they were dumb, and also embarrassed for them that they had to come back to school and be in class with students who were half their age. I wondered where they would go after class, if they had kids and a house, how they studied...etc. Then something I've been thinking about recently made me change my mind. When I think about the lives of these adults, I think about the amount of courage it must have taken them to enroll and go back to school which is something so hard. I'm envious of their courage and their tenacity to learn and better themselves. Some people would use them as an example or as motivation to study hard now as opposed to later, however I choose not to see it like that. Their internal drive and desire to learn is inspiring. It serves as a reminder of what we take for granted and that our lives could be so much harder and complicated.

what do I want
People have all different hobbies. dancing, photography, racing, music, drawing, cooking, gaming and so on. there could be thousands of what people like. But the thing is, it's hard to make a living with these hobbies. Of course there are people who developed their hobbies to their professions, and in this case, they can be called successful lives. They would never be tired of what they are doing. However, there are more people who do what they didn't wanted to do. What you are good at and what you'd love to do is also can be different.

What's wrong with this?
I read this in the paper the other day. These scientists - Scientists Slobodchikoff, Kiriazis, Fischer and Creef applied the scientific method to a series of field experiments they held, testing the ability of a particular species of animal to transmit semantic information to one another. More specifically, the experiment was performed on a Gunnison’s prairie dog, Cynomys gunnisoni, in order to study how these prairie dogs are able to send and receive signals regarding the presence of potential predators. More so, they analyzed the distinctions in alarm calls for different predators. They’re hypothesis was the alarm calls are assorted for predators of various colors, shapes and sizes. But what the hell? Humans arent natural predators of prairie dogs? Dogs don't fall for that shit.

More room progress
This is what I have done so far with my room. It isn't really a dream room though, just something standard so far. I haven't done anything special. There's a mini fridge, small aquarium, poker table, computer table, and a TV with a stand placed in the room. I was planning on adding more such as a projector with a pull down screen for movies and a surround sound system, but once again I don't have good time management skills. This is it so far...

Progress #2

Well, it's coming along, I suppose...it's incredibly basic, but I'm putting in the effort. I started adding the pictures in, and in an attempt to make something to add a little depth to the museum, I added a back room with a hallway leading to it. Any thoughts on what I can improve upon? Keep in mind I'm still not quite done; the finished product will end up on the blog...eventually.
Port Jeff
My first two years at Stony Brook I went to a couple of bars in port Jeff. I never really noticed the actual town itself during the daytime. After i moved off campus this year I started going there more often during the day and discovered that there is a lot of great food there. It's also just a nice town, I wouldn't mind living there when I'm older.
All the bad things happen at the same time
I am not in a good emotional state these days because every bad thing comes up at the same time. It makes me feel harder and harder. Last week, I fought with my friend. I have to do a lot of homework for my class. I have two exams in this week. Finally, I got a cold today because of bad condition. Oh my god, I feel like I am going to be crazy. And I cannot concentrate on anything in this situation. I do not want to think about anyrhing in this situation.
However, my reality is not. I take a break now, and I want to get out of here and give up everything. There are a lot of things I have to finish. I’m just doing something now because someone makes me to do it, not I want to do it. I get frustrated when I am in this situation. Why all the bad things happen at the same time?
