foldit

I don't really understand the point of this. Like, I get that different shapes make the proteins do different things, but I don't know the structures of proteins. It just brings me back to how I did really terribly in CHE 131 last fall. I hateee chemistry forever now haha. Anyway, for some reason I can't download it, so I guess I'll have to wait to experiment with it. Or I can try and figure out what the different structures mean and figure out what it is I'm going to be trying to create. It would be pretty neat to create new drugs and what not. It's pretty amazing what drugs can do to your mind. I don't really know what kind of drug I would want to create though. It would definitely be great to have a drug that can make you relax like marijuana, but give you energy as well; like, having the calm without the lethargy. That would actually be pretty sweet. I should definitely create that.
