Text Vs Phone call

So are cell phones a good thing or a bad thing? Is it easier to just send a text or to make a phone call? I believe it depends on the situation. If you need a fast, quick answer then making a phone call is always easier to do. If you want to have a little conversation while asking a question, you can always just text and wait for the reply. but sometimes sending a text people can forget to answer if they look at your text in the middle of doing something.
