When the ghost of Hamlet's father told him the true reason of his death, Hamlet swore revenge. Hamlet did not act out his plans. He had several opportunities to pull the trigger and kill Claudius but fails to follow through. Now I understand why Hamlet didn't slay Claudius while he was praying in that one scene, but did Hamlet really not kill him for the reason that he says?
I personally think Hamlet is a coward. The whole play he whines and complains that he wants revenge, but never does it until the very end while Hamlet himself is also dying.
