Hamlet vs Laertes

Both of these characters have many similarities as well as differences from each other.

Similarities
Both are trying to avenge the murders of their fathers
These characters both portray values of leadership and being an alpha male

Differences
Laertes mobs the castle once he first hears news of the death of his father while Hamlet takes his time to collectively find out what happens. He plans to get his uncle to frame himself for the murder of Hamlet Sr.
Laertes does not care so much for his soul and is willing for it to go to hell for his revenge when he says that he is willing to cut hamlets throat in a church. Hamlet however does not want to kill his uncle while in prayer because he would not want his uncle to go to heaven, instead he wants him to go to damnation and wants to kill him in a sinful act.
Hamlet is a thinker, while Laertes makes quick decisions based too much on his emotions.

These two characters have few similarities but many differences. They are like minor "mirror images of eachother"
