Odeipus' fate was determined from birth while Hamlet drew his own fate. Hamlet decided to take the actions of avenging his fathers death.
Oedipus was sent away to be killed because of the prophesy while Hamlet's father was killed by is uncle.
Oedipus ends up killing his mother and father, while marrying and sleeping with his mom, while Hamlet kills his uncle and also kisses his mother.
Oedpius Rex was born a prince and gained teh throne without this knowledge, while Hamlet was born a prince and had the throne taken by his uncle.
Oedipus marriied his mother while Hamlet found Ophelia.
Hamlet in the end dies while Oedipus rex suffers a life blind with the knowledge of killing his father and sleeping with his mother.
