Revenge

The dictionary definition of "Revenge" is a harmful action against a person or group as a response to a real or percieved greivance. I believe that revenge is one of the most important themes in the play Hamlet. The play even started with ghost of the late King Hamlet lerking around the castle looking for his son, Prince Hamlet. The father told Hamlet that Claudius murdered him and that he should seek revenge for him. Hamlet vowed that he will revenge his father's death by killing Claudius. Throughout the play one can see that Hamlet was hesitant going through with the revenge because he kept on questioning himself. At the end, it was surprising that revenge also killed Hamlet as he killed Claudius during the sword fight.
