Roswitha
In this play, it talks about a guy, Gallicanus who goes for a woman he falls in love with... I'm surprise how easy it is for men to aim for what they want in life. "Oh, shes cute.. she'll be my wife no matter what" that sort of thing. If we were to look at a woman's perspective, most women normally do not get what they want... for Gallicanus, he was already married with two daughters and he still had the rights and power to woo Constance and ask her to marry him. I feel as if a guy was to be married once, they are able to get another woman anytime they want.. if we were to put this vise versa, a woman isn't able to do the same. This also goes toward age, a woman must be married within a certain age because normally women have difficulty getting marry when they're old... but as for a men, they can get marry whenever they want... even if they are elderlies. Pretty unfair but thats just life.
