So a while back i started having problems with my main PC. In the middle of doin my work the monitor would crash, leaving my computer virtually useless.It would enter a never ending sleep mode, nothing i did could wake it up Im fairly good with compouters so i did the usual trouble shooting. I tried different cables, i tried different monitors, i dissabled sleep mode with the little time i had before it crashed again... nothing worked. i was planning on uprading windows anyway so i backed up the harddrive and installed windows 7, hoping that this would help me out, it didnt. i gave trying it my way and brought it into client support here at stony brook and they were simple able to confim my suspicions. it turns out, as i had suspected, my video card crashed. now i am screwed and am stuck using my 5 year+ old laptop to do my homewotk and everything, i am not a happy camper. i dont have the money to blow on a new video card though so im shit out of luck. so if any of you are reading this and are pc savvy and either have a spare card or know where to get a decent one for pretty cheap let me know, email me at: hrdcormetalhead@hotmail.com
