It’s quite funny that the week in class we are talking about language I start to notice how vulgar everyone truly talks. Quite frankly, it sickens me and I want to start changing the way we talk to each other.
Everybody that I passed, whether it was on my way to the car, walking to class, or just sitting outside, dropped curses like it was second nature. It came so naturally to them, which honestly isn’t something that we as a society should be proud of. Is it even possible to change such a habit that is found in everybody? I mean, I am sure a very small percentage of us do not curse, so why do they rest of us.
From now on, I will do my best not to curse. It is something I am not proud of and is something I think will shine a bad light on us as a society. I suggest the rest of you do the same as well. It’s a challenge, but it is worth it in the end.
