So we briefly touched upon how men turn evil when they reach their 40's. Why is that? Can it be considered a midlife crisis when men search for younger women? Because from what I can see men age as women age and in many cases not as gracefully (although some "age like wine"). But something clicks, maybe it's the alpha male speaking that has a need to stay young and in charge. I can't completely argue against men thought because women too have tendencies to search for the young and handsome. Hence the term "cougar" comes to play. Even though our society is becoming accustomed to that term, it is still looked upon with scrutiny. There comes the difference between men and women, when an older male is seen with a younger women it is cast away as more normal than if it were an elderly woman with a younger male.
I used to see midlife crisis' as buying expensive pointless objects or splurging on travels, getting every inch of one's body done and etc. However now that I think about it, this is also a form of a crisis, it's also a way of having a difficult time letting go of youth. And I think when these kinds of defense mechanisms appear people of any kind target others to make themselves feel more righteous. It's tragic but not uncommon.
