Giants Stepping Up Their Game

On Sunday, the N.Y. Giants had an impressive win over the Houston Texans with a score of 34-10. The Giants I believe performed well in all aspects of the game. The Giants second week in a row, their defense came up big against the high scoring Texans. The Giants defense only gave up 24 rushing yards and 171 passing yards. The Giants got 3 sacks, 1 into and 2 forced fumbles. It was a surprise that the Giants was able to hold Arian Foster to only 25 rushing yards and giving up only 171 passing yards to Matt Schaub.

The offensive side, Eli Manning had a great today today throwing for close to 300 yards with 3 touchdowns but he has to stop throwing interceptions as he had 2 that game. The ground game came up with over 100 yards by the company of Brandon Jacob and Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacob scoring a touchdown. The receiving end Hakeem Nicks caught for over 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns. This shows that both sides of the game, offensively and defensively, have to play well for the team to win. There are times when the offense puts up big numbers but looses at the end because the defense cannot stop the opposing team's offense. Well the Giants are in second place in their division and I am optimistic that we will win the next game against the Detroit Lion's, improving the Giants record of 4-2.
