Like all cultural icons of different times, there are different views and opinions towards Lady Ga Ga. Many people say shes a wacko, or a brown noser for what everyone wants, some people call her weird, others call her a genius. Many of the youth look up to her as a way to be yourself and stray away from the guidelines of normal society. There was a glee episode dedicated to her in the way of being who you are and how there shouldn't be restrains to being yourself.
Once you've gotten to that point of fame, it's a lot easier to portray your views and influences to people. I do feel she is a good influence at least towards the gay community. I think her dramatic themes and outrageous influences shows the fearlessness to show who you are. I can see how others can view her as a model of freedom in expression.
