I guess I'm in a relationship kind of mood so anyway.
My ex best friend is coming down to NY from NC in a couple of days. We had a pretty big falling out, she talked shit about me to my ex boyfriend who treated me like crap. While she pretended she was my best friend, eventually I found out and wasn't too thrilled so I cut my losses and whatever. In actuality, I was really hurt I just got out of an abusive relationship with the guy and I practically lived with this girl and we were extremely close. Anyway, we're friends on facebook and she told me she's coming down and she wants to see me. My boyfriend isn't too excited because he knows how things ended between us and he doesn't want me to get go and possibly get hurt.
I find it kind of interesting how people are all "through thick and thin" and whatnot when they're in high school or when things are going well but when shit hits the fan it all comes crashing down. A good friend of my recently got hurt and had surgery and we have a pretty tight knit circle of friends and #1 no one let me know and #2 when he got a hold of me he let me know that they all abandoned him and didn't even bother to check how he was doing after his surgery. Friends right?
