Studying-- The Ultimate Experiment

To tie all the loose ends of my previous two blogs together, here's the last bit: perhaps the root of my academic troubles this semester lie in a desperate need for a solid and effective reform in studying methods. I know I owe a lot of my GPA mishaps last semester to testing the helpfulness of a few new methods in studying. For instance, I tried reiterating my notes as pictures I drew in hopes I'd remember them better that way...which ended in failure. I also tried typing my notes in several different fonts and making study sheets, but again to no worthwhile avail.

I'm thinking this time to study every topic while listening to a specific song or band, and then while taking the exam I'll start playing that song or band in my head when I come across the correlating questions as to remind me of what I was thinking while I was studying. This is definitely one of those ideas of mine to which I can confidently say, "well, this is either gonna be semi-effective or really, really embarrassing." And yes, it very well can be both of those things at once.

Once I've found my forte in studying, I think I may be able to pick this semester up off the ground. Maybe this is unrealistic me talking again, but...would it be possible to make studying somehow fun?
