synchronicity

Lucid dreaming weirds me out. I tried it a while ago it wouldn't work for me. A friend told me about it and he has a friend who lucid dreams so much that he's sometimes not sure whether or not he's dreaming. Yikes. So does lucid dreaming turn the asynchronous act of dreaming into a synchronous one? I don't think so, but then again I've never experienced it. I mean, even if you're controlling it, the dream still isn't real and neither are the people you're interacting with. I think all dreaming is essentially asynchronous.
