Dooly

Dooly is a very famous Korean animation. Most Koreans from my generation spent a good amount of time with this show in their childhood. I recently got a change to watch this show again. I noticed something that I didn't when I was young. This show reflects well about 70's Korean Politics. For instance, increase of oil price due to the Gulf War was depicted well in this show. It also shows Koreans' perception about outside the world when traveling abroad was prohibited for civilians to prevent transferring money to overseas. Anyway, this shows reminded me of many things I was forgetting about Korean Modern History.
