I have changed my major three times. Back in my high school years, I wanted to be a doctor because of the influence from my parents and I heard that doctors in the US makes a lot of money. That's why I applied Stony Brook, NYU, etc which do have medical programs. But I finally decided to go Baruch College to major in Accounting and studied CPA for years. After the army life, I wanted to continue my study but I changed my mind simply because I liked math and science more than reading articles. So the first time I changed my major to the science field was when I was in Ewha University. I took some computer programming courses and liberal arts courses. I came back to New York and took one CS course and it made me crazy because it was basically time consuming programming course, which is not my type. I had to sit down and looking at the screen many hours to figure out how this program runs and finding out errors.
Few month ago, I transferred to Stony Brook and FINALLY decided my real major. It is Electrical Engineering. Of course it is a tough major, but I really love it. I actually made the alarm clock with USB charger in elementary EE course.
I'm almost 27 years old and most of my friends already have graduated and have Masters degree and some of my friends already became dentists, teachers, etc. I'm still in Undergradute. If I went to Stony brook instead of Baruch in 2002, I might already got master degree. Now, I don't regret my decision. Here is my first EE project that I made last semester.
