Onibaba
In class we saw the movie "Onibaba" on Netflix. It was a pretty interesting movie and it is different from what I usually watch. I like the element that the movie is in black and white because I feel like it is one of those movies that don't need special effect to be a good movie and that it just needs great acting to be a classic. The fact that the movie is from a different culture adds an element of education because one is learning about their culture and history just by watching the movie. For example in the movie I learned that in Japan, there are monsoons and it can get extremely hot during the summer. Also I got to see the type of clothing that Japanese people wore and the armor that the samurai's wore in battle. I like the expression that the actors were using to emphasize and show emotional into their words.
