Until I started to exercise every other day, I did not realize how good it feels after running a mile or two and doing some push-ups. I use work out and exercise once in a while, it would be just a random thing I would do and then not do it again for months. Recently I stated to work out at least four times per week and I am feeling so much better already. There were times when I felt tired and sleepy and that was due to lack of sleep. Other times, even when I had an adequate amount of sleep I still felt a bit tired and absent minded. At the end of the day as I am feeling a bit tired, I go to the gym and run a mile or two on the treadmill. It makes me sweat and feel tired but it is that type of tired feeling without feeling sleepy. I would actually feel energized and awake after running and doing push-ups.
If I exercise every other day, I feel energetic and not so tired even if I get less than seven hours of sleep. The best part about exercising that I like is that after running and working out, taking a bath feels extremely good. And it gets even better after taking a shower because my mind feels very clear and I feel like I can focus much better although sometimes after working out I feel exhausted and very sleepy. Feeling better is only part of the reason one should exercise and run a lot because there are many other benefits to exercising and working out. Your blood circulation improves, you burn fat even if you are not fat (it keeps you in shape), you feel much more focused and energetic, if you do it consistently at least a few times a week.
I noticed that not only do I feel better, calm, energetic, and focused, but also that I don’t need to drink coffee to stay awake during the day. The reason I think that when I exercise a few times a week, I don’t feel tired during the day even if I don’t get enough sleep is because it makes me more active and increases my overall endurance for extended periods of time. Its effects lasts for days and as long as I exercise at least 3 or 4 times per week, I feel focused and awake and definitely don’t think too much about buying a cup of coffee.
Exercising every other day-the reason I said every other day is because you should give your body/muscles time to heal itself and let your body rest before the next workout/exercise secession.
Overall, exercising/working out, especially running and push-ups are very good for your mind and body because it helps you focus better and feel active during the day even if you don’t get enough sleep. In addition, I don’t have to drink coffee to keep me awake during the day since I don’t feel as tired as I normally would if I don’t run and workout at least 3 times per week.
