Your Father's Son

My father left but came back. He left us, for a woman from the mountains, a "campacina".
In two occasions he fought in court for custody, Judge Judy presided over one before she had her own tv-show. He recieved weekend visits.
And we were fine with that, though I always wish he had more of a hand in raising me. Once he came back he served more as financial support. I know he loves us more than he shows us.
I saw him today, It was at least six months since I seen him. He just finished saving the lives of my younger brothers, my mom finally submitted and allowed him to take them to Dominican Republic, since she couldn't handle them. I guess all this time my younger brothers were rebelling for my father's attention, and they got it. They are better. I'm very proud.
I should've been the wild child, perhaps he would of gotten custody. Although, I secretly was I just never got caught. That garbage can fire at 181st subway station, that was me; I was on spanish news!!!
Oh, and that woman my dad left my mom for, she got dumped too, new wifey. :)
I'm lucky he came back.
