Wage Gap between men and women

The wage gap between men and women is growing smaller by the year. I read a study the other day that said more and more women are graduating from college than men. This means that the wage gap is becoming smaller and smaller. I know many, many women who make more than their male counterparts. My mother made more than my father all my life. The way to more money is through better education. Women are becoming more educated and some men may or may not see it as important to become more educated. I plan on becoming more educated than my future male counterpart, although only time will tell if my specific education will mean more money for me. In my field, it's wishy-washy as to whether or not my education will matter. I suppose it'll depend mostly on how I utilize it and where I choose to go with it someday.
