A Good Weekend
While the 4-day weekend served its purpose in studying ahead and preparing, I would still prefer that we'd get off days spread around instead of a single 4-day blitz. This is because for the next two months, we won't have any days off until two days for Thanksgiving in late November, and even so, those days are more "getting prepared for the finals right around the corner" days. In spite of this, it was still a good mini-vacation I guess. I don't know about most people, but with me I don't get as much work done during the weekday as I do the weekend; it is the weekends that I used to rush-prepare for my physics, or my general/organic chemistry courses. It would work out fine in the end, but even so I ask myself whether this would be a good strategy in the future with professional schools, and I'd personally think not. I guess that in each stage of life, we develop new adaptations at the situations and problems that we are thrown at; I mean in high school, I definitely wasn't this way, and so you always need to allow room for adaptative changes. Life will only change even more as we progress into the future, and we must allow this room or only perish, just as Darwin himself developed in his Origin of Species worok.
