Yesterday I was working in the dining hall making Pancakes when a couple ordered one pancake & french toast. While the pancake was on its way they were in furious mood. In the beginning the guy ignored the girl & the girl was constantly trying to make him talk. Finally the guy opened his mouth with rage "You did go down with other guy yesterday at the party." It was out of anger but like a murmur. The girl said "Hell no I told u so many times I didn't." They argued about it till the pancake was ready.
I felt that the girl was probably right. But she had so much hard time proving herself. In the evening I thought about Jocasta. I mother's soul always picks her child. Is it possible that she came to know after the marriage that Oedipus was her son but he never revealed it scared of the patriarchal society.
