It’s kind of a shame on me that I’ve not tried to know about my family history before I start to do my family history assignment in this class. So, when I heard the topic of the project, I have no idea what should I do for this project. As I grew up, I did not have many chances to know about my family history. My mother sometimes talked about the past of my family but it was not in details.
My grandmother passed away about three weeks ago. Mother was overcome with grief after her mother is died. I was so sad that I couldn’t be there and I wasn’t very supportive during my mother’s hard time. As I asked mom to send the family pictures, she said that it was a good time to remind of memories with her mother by looking at the old pictures. And she told me the old time stories of my family on the phone. Knowing my family history is to find out how my family can be not poor now and how my family can be happy now.
