As I was reading Oedipus Rex, dreading the fact that I have to read even more for homework, I began to think, "I wonder how my kids, or even grand-kids, will obtain information from plays and stories?" Will they have some sort of scanner in their brains that automatically fills them with stories with a push of a button? Only time could tell.
This thought came from my mother saying to me as I was reading, "You kids have it so lucky no a days. If I had to read a book when I was your age, I would have to ride down to the library hoping that it was available." This really got me thinking as to how lucky this generation really is. The technology available to us is incredible.
