Is this future our futures?

Everyone says the economy is pretty much down into the toilet; we are not gonna get an offer until a few years later after graduating from SB... The future of the economy, and the general society seem gloomy but is this our future?

Why does the general condition of the society has to be part of our personal situations? Is it just because we are a part of the society, so we are affected? I believe there are gonna be somethings can provide some leeway for us to walk around the current situation even though we are living in the epic center. NY is the place that gets most of the attention in the world whenever we talk about finance, investing, ... money in general. A lot of people come to NY with their dreams of career, and this is the catalyst of opportunities.

If everyone can always keep the goal clear in mind, the energy will always be there. We are just like a battery in a running car recharging itself. The point is we have to be never stop and keep running, working, dreaming, pursuing, changing, attacking, and competing for the goal.

I like to look at people in one of those business areas during the day. Everyone is in hurry rushing to the next meeting while talking on the phone, checking email on the blackberry, or holding a pile of documents on their hands. I don't mean to enjoy looking at people being abused by tons of works but I like to see the energy within the society, especially when it is moving so intensely.

I believe that we are living in or living so close to the big city, the spot light, the crisis, but also the chances; how we can beat it depends on how we act upon it.
