What if Oedipus was kept? Would he marry mom? Kill dad sooner? What if instead of nailing his ankles, they nailed his wrists?

Because the story would have no meaning, so Oedipus kills father and marries mother who bores her own grandchildren.

What if the oracle chose to be silent at the right moment? Why does the oracle play host in a televised game of survival?

I guess, faith was that strong.

What if we had an oracle? Who would be responsible for our fast-paced demise?
