The other day in class the Professor introduced the "phi proportion" and I wasn't exactly sure what it was so I decided to look it up and wanted to see what things in everyday life have this golden ratio. I found it very interesting that many things found in nature have this like the shell of a mollusk or even the leaves on the branch of a tree. For my ecology class we had to collect different plants, one of them being the tree of heaven. I thought this was a beautiful plant because of the symmetry of the leaves on the branches.
