Wonders of the Word

Although linguistics and art normally fall in two completely different categories, the above image of a tattoo represents how perfectly harmonious the attraction of opposites can be. The angle of perception depends on what phrase you can read, but both "Philosophy" and "Arts & Sciences" are completely legible, showing that the characters that compose our alphabet are one field of creativity yet undiscovered. In fact, before even comprehending the words that were written on his arm, I was personally perplexed by the genius of having three words written with one simple tattoo; this ink-job speaks more about the man it's written on than meets the eye.
