Hard to get together
I was in Korea during this summer vacation. It was my first time staying Korea for a long time, three months, after I studied abroad to the US. So I was kind of excited before going to Korea. I had thought what I could do for three months in Korea. One of my plans was spending more time with my family. As I grew up, it became harder to get together for my family even if the number of our family member is only four including my parents, older brother and me. However, it was also difficult to carry on the plan in this summer. My father was usually busy with his working as he held a high position in his company. He has to have more responsibility at work. And my older brother lived separately for preparing a civil service examination. So when my family went to trip to Spain in this summer, my brother couldn’t join with us. My family could get together on my birthday and Mom’s birthday in this summer. Why is the family gathering getting hard? It doesn’t mean that our family is unhappy. We take cares each other a lot. However, working hard for ourselves to survive in tough society allows us to lose spending time with family.
