Well most people find Stony Brook not-so-great. To me it seems like a pretty dreary place sometimes. Certainly not a place to cheer you up when you are stressed or feeling down. I've taken some really diffcult classes here that have honestly made my time here even more miserable. Everyone leaves on the weekends and there is never anything to do. But college is what you make of it so im still tying to make the best of it. I have met some amazing people and i am getting the hang of classes.
Professor Baldwin said today to "put a smile on" even though we were at Stony Brook. We were in his class now and we needed to be happier and have fun. Aside from it being a morning class so everyone is almost half asleep, no one is too cheery at Stony Brook so the Professor noticed this and told everyone to just smile. This class can be looked at as a getaway from the rest of school and nothing else should matter when we are in there.
